Domburg receives two Michelin stars: a unique recognition!

Domburg has been awarded two tourist stars in the 2026 Michelin Guide. This officially places our seaside resort among the destinations Michelin considers “worth a detour.”

With this special recognition, Domburg joins the ranks of iconic Dutch attractions like Kinderdijk and Giethoorn, which also hold two stars. It emphasizes that Domburg is loved not only for its beach and nature but also for its unique atmosphere, history, and quality as a coastal destination.

Domburg: the only Dutch seaside resort with two stars

Remarkably, Domburg is the only seaside resort in the Netherlands to receive this double recognition. Within Zeeland, it is the only place with two stars; other Zeeland towns such as Middelburg, Veere, and Zierikzee have one star. This accolade confirms what many visitors have long known: a visit to Domburg is definitely worth it.
